Abstract

The purpose of these case reports is to introduce an innovative orthodontic appliance to effect forced eruption. This device is useful when attempting to erupt teeth in the esthetic zone with minimal effect on adjacent teeth. It is especially indicated for adjacent teeth with esthetic restorations. The appliance is easy to fabricate, cost-effective and very useful in forced eruption efforts for the “nonrestorable” tooth.
