Abstract
This section of the Journal of the American College of Dentists presents professional correspondence regarding previously published articles and issues relevant to dentistry, ethics, education, policy, and patient care. Letters to the editor provide readers an opportunity to offer scholarly critique, clarification, perspective, or additional insight, while author responses promote constructive academic dialogue and continued professional reflection.
The letters in this issue respond to the JACD article “The Racial Politics of Early Dentistry and the Terrible ‘Toothache Blues’” (Vol. 92, No. 2).
