Abstract
The article highlights the CareFree Dental Clinic of Dickinson and Florence Counties, a volunteer-run free dental clinic in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Founded by the Fornetti family in 2010, the clinic received a $12,500 MDA Foundation grant in 2024. The clinic has served 1,878 patients over 12 years, providing emergency dental care to uninsured individuals and veterans. Despite challenges including COVID-19 and volunteer recruitment, the clinic continues to provide comprehensive care through an appointment-based system.
