Abstract
This article presents advocacy strategies to promote and preserve community water fluoridation initiatives. The American Fluoridation Society, patterned after the British Fluoridation Society, brings dentists, health experts, and other allies and provides evidence-based resources to address a broad spectrum of assertion by fluoridation opponents.
