This archival collection contains the ADA publication Advances in Periodontics. Collated yearly, volumes are comprised of article abstracts related to periodontics from hundreds of journals around the world.
"Articles which originally appeared in many languages have been abstracted to provide the reader with significant new information. The original contributions appeared in journals devoted to clinical dentistry, dental research, medicine, and basic sciences. The scope of the abstracts published is deliberately broad so that many developments which might be overlooked by the practicing clinician have been included" (Advances in Periodontics, Preface, Volume 1).
