Advances in Orthodontics contains abstracts of articles related to all phases of orthodontics published in hundreds of journals throughout the world each year, arranged as a convenient ready reference. The material is organized into the major sections of orthodontics and has been arranged more or less by date of the original publication.

Contents appeared in journals devoted to clinical dentistry, dental research, medicine, and basic sciences. Included in each Advances volume are all the abstracts published in the corresponding section of the contemporaneous volume of Oral Research Abstracts and those from other sections with some relationship to the topic. The entire list of journals abstracted appears near the end, followed by author and subject indexes.
