Abstract
The New Orleans Dental Association Honors & Awards committee is pleased to announce the recipient of the 2025 Honor Dentist: Dr. James "Jimmy" E. Burns. Dr. Burns is an LSU graduate and avid LSU football fan. He is a member of many professional dental groups and an advocate of organized dentistry. Within the article he credits several professional mentors and his father as role models.
The NODA Honor Dentist Award is presented annually “In Recognition of Outstanding Contributions And Exemplary Conduct in the Profession of Dentistry”.
