Abstract
When thousands of Afghans were evacuated to the U.S. in 2021, they brought resilience, hope—and an urgent need for dental care. Recognizing this, Christ Church Cranbrook, the Muslim Unity Center, and partners like Delta Dental came together to create the Interfaith Dental Program. The Interfaith Dental Program supports general dentists and dental specialists so they can offer their services to provide needed dental care not covered by insurance or Medicaid.
