Abstract

For most of us, a trip to the zoo brings back memories of childhood running around looking at all the animals and being excited. However, not many of us stop and wonder what happens when the animals in the zoo have a toothache. Who takes care of them? Well here at IUSD, we had Dr. George Willis, Associate Dean for Clinics, on our faculty who was one of the leading authorities in the World on zoo dental care. George who had been the Dentist for the Indianapolis Zoo for over 30 years has since retired.
