Abstract

In 177 patients with chronic idiopathic facial pain we wanted to determine: 1) the accuracy of intraosseous local anesthetic injections in locating occult pain producing pathology within the jaws; 2) the prevalence of microscopic criteria from each biopsy to clarify whether the disease had ischemic and/or inflammatory origin.
