It involves working together to promote oral health, advocate for beneficial policies, provide continuing education, and uphold standards of practice. Examples include the American Dental Association (ADA), state dental societies, like the Indiana Dental Association and all its component societies and specialty organizations that offer resources, networking opportunities, and a collective voice for the profession.
