It discusses professionalism in the oral healthcare setting, where dental and dental hygiene students must learn proper etiquette. Creating a positive workplace culture is key for staff retention. The editorial reviews the potential drawbacks of overreliance on digital devices and the value of simple courtesies like "please" and "thank you" are also addressed. As AI tools rise, maintaining human elements such as empathy and emotional intelligence is emphasized. Overall, the article advocates prioritizing mindful, respectful communication for fostering positive relationships, healthy work environments and quality patient care.
